I’m Laura, a self taught flower farmer with a passion for sustainability and a desire to share not only my locally grown flowers, but the inspiration and knowledge to allow you to grow your own flowers as well.
Situated just outside Downpatrick, Northern Ireland I started growing my own flowers a few years ago and Bright Florals was then launched in Spring 2021
I have carefully selected varieties to grow this year which will provide colour, texture and scent to my bouquets. The season will kicks off (weather dependant) in March through to the first frosts in autumn and hopefully beyond by specialising in growing flowers for drying
I grow without the use of any chemical herbicides or pesticides and sustainability is at the forefront of design, so I do not use any floral foam and all wrapping is biodegradable in your home compost bin
